AMONGST THE STARS

Can love endure when life pulls people apart? AMONGST THE STARS was my final project at Columbia, a culmination of 3.5 years of learning. The story of an unlikely couple (Eve, a young woman and Mara, a literal force of nature) making the most of the time they have left when circumstances beyond their control force them apart was deeply personal to me. Collaborating with my DP and Editor to figure out how to bring the more fantastical elements of the story to life was super rewarding, and I can’t wait to show what we’ve been working on.

AMONGST THE STARS will premiere at Columbia College Chicago’s MANIFEST Festival in April.
